Do you clean screens separately from window cleaning?
Yes. Screen and track cleaning can be booked on its own or added to a residential window cleaning visit. Most homeowners bundle it in since we are already at the house with the right tools.
Why does my window stick or drag when I open it?
Usually it is buildup in the track, not a problem with the window itself. Dust, sand, and debris pack into that channel over time and create drag. Detailing the track clears it so the window moves freely again.
Will cleaning my screens damage them?
No. We wash screens by hand and rehang them carefully so they fit correctly. If a screen is already torn or warped before we arrive, we will point it out rather than force it back into place.
How often should screens and tracks be cleaned?
